Mango Lassi Recipe

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Lassi is a soothing cold drink for hot summer days or to brighten up any meal. Mango, the King of Fruits has many followers world over and Punjab is no different. As we all know Punjabis love lassi. So, here is a great combination of all time favourite lassi with mango. Mango lassi is basically a yoghurt based mango milkshake or smoothie. This pale drink is a blend of mango and yoghurt.You can use either canned mango pulp or cubed fresh or frozen mango.
Early we made Nutty Rose Lassi, Cool Khus Lassi and last but not the least Kesar Badam Lassi
So, let's make this easy and delicious Mango Lassi, a famous Punjabi recipe which can be relished anytime!!!

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - nil
Makes 2 glasses

Ingredients to make Mango Lassi Recipe:

250 grammes hung curd
1 cup chilled milk
1 cup mango pulp
2 teaspoon sugar

For garnishing:

Chopped mango
Sliced almonds

Method to make Mango Lassi Recipe:

  • Hang curd for minimum 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • In a mixer jar add mango pulp. sugar, milk and hung curd.
  • Churn till smooth texture.
  • Pour into serving glasses and again keep in the refrigerator for minimum 30 minutes to chill.
  • At the time of serving garnish with chopped mango and sliced almonds.
  • Quick, easy and healthy Mango Lassi is ready to serve.
