How to Make Barbecue Rolls

As we all know barbecue sauce is very delicious. Now it is easily available in market ready. But you won't believe it is very easy. So be ready to learn how to make Barbecue sauce and then barbecue rolls. Actually if  barbecue sauce is ready it is very easy to make barbecue roll or sandwich from it. I tried to fill sauce, paneer and vegetables in dinner rolls, but it can be filled between two slices of breads or even can be filled in scooped bun also. This recipe can served for snacks, in party, as starter and even for kids lunch box also. So enjoy the recipe of Barbecue rolls.

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 20 to 25 minutes
Makes - 4 rolls

Ingredients to make Barbecue Rolls:

For rolls:

4 dinner rolls
Butter as needed
cheese spread as needed

For barbecue sauce:

3 table spoon oil
2 onion chopped
4 cloves garlic
1 small capsicum
2 tomatoes
Salt to taste
2 table spoon tomato ketch up
1 tea spoon chilli flacks
1 tea spoon oregano
1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder
1/2 tea spoon soy sauce
2 table spoon corn flour
1 table spoon red chilli powder
1/4 tea spoon white vinegar

For filling:

100 grams paneer
1 tea spoon oil
1 capsicum dies
1 onion dies 
Gated cabbage
Salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder

To serve with:

Tomato ketch up

Method to make Barbecue Rolls:

For barbecue sauce:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add onion, garlic and capsicum to it. Let it cook at fast flame to give burnt effect. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes and salt, again cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Add dry spices, tomato ketch up and soy sauce. Cook for 2 minutes at medium flame and then add corn flour slurry to it. Again cook for 2 minutes and at last add white vinegar.
  • Remove from flame and cool at room temperature. 
  • Churn it to smooth paste and keep a side.

For filling:

  • Mix all ingredients of filling in a pan and keep a side for 10 minutes.
  • Sauté in non stick pan for 5 minutes.

How to assemble Barbecue Roll:

  • Cut roll horizontally and apply butter in between. Roast lightly and apply cheese spread over lower layer. 
  • Spread some barbecue sauce on it and then spread grated cabbage and filling material over it. 
  • Cover with upper layer.
  • Repeat the same for remaining.
  • Serve Barbecue Rolls with tomato ketch up.
  • At the time of serving grilling can be done.
