How to Make Salsa Sauce

Recipe By Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Mexican Salsa Sauce. This is a very tasty Mexican dip - sauce. It can be served with chips, nachos and of course with salted cookies also. It can be said low cal. dip with yummy taste. Even I serve it with pure Gujarati khakhra also. It can be a very nice and yummy combination.

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 5 minutes

Ingredients to make Salsa Sauce:

2 tea spoon oil
1 tea spoon garlic paste
1 tea spoon green chilli paste
4 to 5 tomatoes finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon red chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon chilli flacks
1/2 tea spoon oregano
1/2 tea spoon sugar
1 capsicum - burnt 
1 tea spoon tomato ketch up
1 tea spoon corn flour
1/4 tea spoon white vinegar

To serve with:

Nachos
Salted cookies
Chips
Khakhra

Method to make Salsa sauce:

  • In a pan heat oil and add garlic paste and green chilli paste. Cook and add finely chopped tomatoes.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add salt, red chilli powder, chilli flacks, oregano, and sugar. Mix well.
  • Add burnt skinless capsicum and tomato ketch up.Mix well.
  • Dilute corn flour in 1 table spoon water. and mix with above mixture. Cook till thick. 
  • Remove from flame and add white vinegar at last. Mix well.
  • Let salsa sauce cool and serve with nachos, chips, cookies and khakhra. Even cream Cheese dip also can be served with it.
  • Store it in refrigerator in air tight container.
