How to make Chocolate Nachos

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Wow! another delicious chocolaty dessert. Must be confused nachos and dessert? Yes, it is. Last Sunday I tried delicious sweet nachos with chocolate flavour. And it was superb!! It is little tricky but the result was awesome. I just fried refined flour nachos and then covered with chocolate. That's it Super delicious cool Chocolate Nachos are here to serve with ice cream.

Preparation time 10 minutes
Cooking time - 15 to 20 minutes

Ingredients to make Chocolate Nachos:

1 cup refined flour
2 tablespoon semolina
1 tablespoon ghee
2 tablespoon oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
Oil for frying

For coating:

200 grammes dark chocolate compound
100 grammes sweet chocolate compound

To serve with:

Chocolate/vanilla ice cream
(I used vanilla)
Chocolate sauce
Chopped nuts (opt.)
Chocolate chips


Method to make Chocolate Nachos:

  • Mix all ingredients of nachos in a mixing bowl and knead semi-soft dough from it. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Make equal balls from it and roll about 6" rotis from it. Cut in the triangular shape and then prick with fork or knife.
  • Fry in hot oil until crisp at medium flame.

For coating:

  • Microwave both sweet and dark chocolate compound for 30 seconds. 
  • Mix well and micro again.
  • Spread above mixture on one side of nachos and cool in the refrigerator for minimum 30 seconds.
  • Repeat the same for another side.
  • Keep in refrigerator in air tight container.

How to assemble:

  • At the time of serving place a big scoop of ice cream in the middle of serving plate. 
  • Now place nacho chips around it, Put a small portion of same ice4 cream on it.
  • Drizzle some chocolate sauce on them.
  • Garnish with nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Serve cool Chocolate Nachos as dessert.
