How to Make Creamy Cheese Frankie

In earlier recipes we learn to make frankie and frankie pizza. They both are different, But now it's home made recipe for creamy cheese frankie. Means it's time for learning to make creamy cheese frankie. Roti and roll recipe are same as normal frankie, but spread is different.The spread is made from cheese, mayonnaise and sauces. To make it more healthy I used hung curd in spread. Means it's different. This recipe of Creamy Cheese Frankie can be served as starter, snacks, single menu dinner and of course it's ideal for kids lunch box also. So enjoy cooking creamy cheese frankie.




Preparation time - 25 to 30 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Serves - 6 persons

Ingredients to make Creamy cheese Frankie:

For Roties:

3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup refined flour
1 table spoon curd
1 table spoon oil
Salt to taste

For rolls:

Rolls as the recipe of frankie

For salad:

2 onion chopped in thin slices 
1 cup gated or thin chopped cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrots 
1/2 capsicum sliced
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon chaat masalo 


For spread:

1/2 cup hung cur
2 table spoon mayonnaise
3 table spoon cheese spread
2 table spoon tomato ketch up
1 tea spoon red chilli sauce

Butter or oil as needed
3 to 4 cubes grated cheese

To serve with:

Tomato ketch up
French fries


Method to make Creamy Cheese Frankie:

For roties:

  • Knead semi soft dough from the material of roties.
  • Keep a side for minimum 30 minutes covered.
  • Roll and make soft roties from it.

For rolls:

  • Make rolls as the recipe of frankie.
  • Mix all ingredients of salad and keep a side.
  • Mix ingredients of spread. Keep a side.

How to assemble:

  • Warm roties on griddle. Apply spread over roti and then spead some salad over it.
  • Place a roll over it and at last spread some grated cheese over it.
  • Roll frankie properly and apply some butter on it. Place it in griller for 5 minutes or shallow fry on griddle - tavi.
  • Repeat the same for remaining. 
  • Serve hot frankie with tomato ketch up and french fries.
